We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, phone number, business name, and the prospect and customer data you enter into Fanel. We also collect usage data such as pages visited and features used.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to provide and improve the Fanel service, send you product updates and billing notifications, and power AI features like prospect scoring and email drafting. We do not use your data to train AI models without your explicit consent.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with service providers who help us operate Fanel, under strict data processing agreements:
- Supabase — database hosting and authentication
- Vercel — application hosting and edge delivery
- IntaSend — M-Pesa and card payment processing
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Anthropic (Claude AI) — AI-powered features (prompts only, no stored data)
- Africa's Talking — SMS notifications
4. Data Storage
Your data is stored on servers within or accessible from Kenya and the EU. We apply industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.

6. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. tax records under Kenya Revenue Authority requirements).
